Welcome to my blog. To get things started, a little bit about me...
I grew up in good ol' Oklahoma and graduated from Oklahoma State - Go Pokes! I moved to NYC shortly afterwards to follow my dreams of working in footwear. Six years later I'm still here and working in product development in luxury men's footwear. I live in the middle of Manhattan with my sweet husband, and I love the hustle and bustle of the Big Apple. But, at the same time, getting away to relax, breathe fresh mountain air, and look at the stars is a must for my sanity! Luckily, my husband has a little cabin on a pretty lake in upstate New York, which gives me the perfect balance between the city and the country.
My day-to-day postings will be about all of my experiences as I split my time in the big city and the tiny Catskill town. You might find recommendations for world class restaurants or recipes for fish on the grill. You might see a picture of me with designer Betsey Johnson or a picture of me holding a 16-inch rainbow trout. And don't be surprised if I refer to my favorite resort in Barbados or the cutest bed and breakfast in Sullivan County. I hope you enjoy, and thanks for stopping by!
